Well folks, it's official, we're moving to Atlanta. Chase took a job with his company at their corporate office in Alpharetta, Ga. The plan is to be moved out of our place in Solana Beach by the end of the month. We will hang out with our families and friends for a about a week, then Chase will drive with Zeke and some of our things 2,000 miles across the country and Cruz and I will meet him via plane in Atlanta a few days later. The logistics of moving are far more nerve racking, for me, than the fact that we're moving somewhere we don't really know anybody. It's quite difficult to get packing, moving, storing and driving expenses under a fixed budget from the company but we're doing a ton of research to try and make it work. I am also petrified of the 4.5hr plane ride with Cruz. I know people do it all the time and with multiple kids, so I know I can do it but he has been a hand full of fussiness and tears lately. I'm praying there are nice and understanding people on my flight. I might possibly end up buying ear plugs for everyone on the flight:).
We are really excited and thankful for this opportunity. We prayed a lot and are 100% certain God provided this gift singlehandedly. With the cost of living being extremely high in Southern California, we just feel like it's the best move for our growing family. Chase spent 5 years of his life as a young boy living in Atlanta and he loved it, so we're very confident we are going to like raising our family there as well. There will be many many visits back to California and possibly one day a move back, but we are going to Georgia expecting to love it:).
